Who We AreSWSP exists to promote excellence in education and the science of periodontology. Our society consists of periodontists from Arkansas, Texas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Louisiana.
Nominate a Peer for an Academy AwardAmerican Academy of Periodontology (AAP) awards recognize individuals for contributions to the Academy and the profession of periodontics. Awards are given in several areas: education and mentoring, scientific and clinical research, and service to the AAP and periodontics. A full description of all awards and eligibility criteria is on the AAP website. The deadline for award nominations is January 31, 2023. Please consider nominating a peer for an Academy Award. Please take a moment to nominate a colleague, teacher, scientist or humanitarian for an AAP award. View award nomination form . ADA 10 Under 10 Nominations Now OpenDeveloped by the ADA New Dentist Committee in 2017, this award recognizes 10 amazing dentists who graduated from a dental school less than 10 years ago. We’re celebrating dentists who demonstrate excellence and inspire others in science, research & education, practice excellence, philanthropy, leadership and advocacy.
