The Southwest Society of Periodontists is excited to host this year’s Summer Meeting in New Orleans, a vibrant, dynamic city with many options for sightseeing, dining and entertainment. The format of the Summer Meeting offers exceptional learning and networking opportunities, along with adequate time to explore this historic and diverse locale. Explore such sights as the French Quarter, the Garden District, the Warehouse District and the wonderful parks, including City Park and Audubon Park. For those with families, the New Orleans Aquarium is blocks from the conference hotel and the Audubon Zoo is only a streetcar ride away. There’s so much to explore and enjoy in the Crescent City, you might want to extend your stay!

Why visit New Orleans?

“Come experience the amazing people, the architecture, the museums, the bayous, our three-hundred year-old history, and visit some of our 1200 restaurants. Po-boys, gumbo, bread pudding, sazeracs, and the freshest seafood from local docks that you’ve ever had.... Then you’ll ask yourself what took you so long to get here and how soon you can come back! Bienvenue à la Nouvelle Orleans, Chèr!”

- Kristi M. Soileau, DDS, MEd, MSHCE, FACD
